Pilates is truly suitable for everyone—regardless of age, current fitness level, or experience. From elite athletes looking to enhance performance and prevent injury, to seniors seeking better balance and mobility, to individuals in post-rehabilitation, the method can be customized for your body and your goals.
We highly recommend starting with our Introductory Private Session or a Beginner Mat Class. This ensures you learn the fundamental principles (like breathing, centering, and precision) and feel comfortable with the terminology and correct form before joining a standard group session.

Mat Pilates uses your own body weight and gravity for resistance. It's a foundational, full-body workout that's highly focused on core control.
Apparatus Pilates uses specialized equipment like the Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda Chair, which feature spring-based resistance. This equipment can either support or challenge the body, allowing for precise, customized strength and stretching work.
The founder, Joseph Pilates, famously said: "You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions." For noticeable results, we recommend a consistent practice of 2–3 times per week, combined with listening to your body.

Yes. Because Pilates is a low-impact exercise that focuses on strengthening the deep core and improving postural alignment, it is often recommended by doctors and physical therapists for back pain, joint issues, and rehabilitation. Always consult with your doctor first, then let your Embody trainer know about your history so we can provide safe, appropriate modifications.

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely and that isn't too baggy (so the instructor can see your body alignment). Grip socks are required for all Apparatus classes for hygiene and safety.

Yes! We offer Private (one-on-one) and Duet (two-person) sessions for clients who want highly personalized programs, have specific injuries, or prefer a tailored experience. Please contact us directly to inquire about booking and availability.
We have a [Insert Your Policy Duration, e.g., 12-hour] cancellation policy for all classes and private sessions.
Cancellations made with less than [Policy Duration] notice will unfortunately forfeit the session fee or class credit. This allows us to offer the spot to other clients on the waitlist.

Amazing experience!! I worked with a nice lady named Ivana with a goal for strengthening the left side of my body. The place is clean and a very welcoming environment. The equipment is new and sturdy, as I'm a larger person and it held me just fine. I also appreciate Ivana's clear directions on pivoting my movements. Absolutely recommend Embody Pilates!

I love the personal one on one attention. Kylee is very professional but also personable. We talked about my goals and she pushes me to achieve them. I have never loved to exercise, but I can truly say I love Pilates because of Embody Pilates!
